Building a trusted long-term relationship with IPES

Thintech has been a trusted advisor to IPES for nearly 7 years and has taken the organisation’s IT system from a small, underperforming Citrix installation used by just a few staff to a full Citrix Flexcast installation delivered to all staff as their main desktop whether they are working remotely or in any one of IPES office sites.

The solution is hosted in IPES’s data centre in Guernsey and used by staff in Guernsey, Jersey and London. It is fully virtualised using the Citrix XenServer hypervisor giving IPES flexibility in managing their resources. IPES have a backup/DR centre in Guernsey and replicate their data/virtual machines to this site on a regular basis.

The solution delivers a Windows 10 desktop experience with Office 365 and the full range of business applications required by IPES. Thintech trained IPES staff in 3rd line operation and maintenance of the solution and now continue to provide backup 4th line (vendor) support.
